Alamo Iron Works is Going Green

Did you know that every year Alamo Iron Works prints and mails over 75,000 pieces of direct mail, equaling over two and a half million individual printed pages? That means at least thirty sixty-foot-tall pine trees have to be chopped down to produce what ultimately gets thrown away, creating more trash in our landfills.

AIW's new Go Green initiative will reduce the enormous amount of paper required to create its marketing materials, which will result in helping to reduce carbon output, save our forests, and reduce the amount of environmentally hazardous materials used in our printing operation. And you will still be able to access all of our great specials  right here on our web site or through special email offers when you sign up for our Go Green program. Look for our new "Monthly Hot Deals" section on the home page, as well as new features and sections that will be added over the coming months.
